Celebrating Excellence: MMT Members Recognized at the Celebration of Artistry Gala

Mickey Woyshner received the Favourite Male Presenting Actor - Subscribers Choice Award for his performance as Sweeney Todd.

Outstanding productions are made possible by extraordinary people, and this season several members of the Meadowvale Music Theatre family were recognized for their exceptional contributions both on and off the stage.

At the Celebration of Artistry Gala, which honours excellence across the Encore Series, MMT proudly celebrated achievements from our acclaimed production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Subscriber-Voted Recognition

Congratulations to Mickey Woyshner, who received the Favourite Male Presenting Actor award for his unforgettable performance as Sweeney Todd.

We also congratulate Erica Astles, whose outstanding portrayal of Mrs. Lovett earned her a place among the top three finalists for Favourite Female Presenting Actor.

These subscriber-voted awards recognize performances that left a lasting impression on audiences throughout the season, and we're incredibly proud to see our members recognized among the region's best.

Celebrating the Company Behind the Curtain

Every successful production depends on far more than what audiences see on stage. Behind every performance is a community of dedicated volunteers, creative leaders, and company members who consistently go above and beyond to support one another.

This season, MMT was proud to recognize several members of our Sweeney Todd company with internal production awards:
