A Big Bright Beautiful Season for MMT Youth Company

The Cast of MMTYC's third season production of Shrek The Musical Jr.

The curtain has closed on another incredible season for Meadowvale Music Theatre Youth Company—and what a season it was.

This June, our talented cast of 25 young performers, ranging in age from 9 to 17, brought Shrek Jr. to life during a three-performance run at Maja Prentice Theatre. From the opening number to the final curtain call, audiences were treated to an energetic, heartfelt production that showcased not only impressive talent, but also the confidence, teamwork, and growth that define the MMT Youth Company experience.

Productions like Shrek Jr. are about far more than putting on a great show. Throughout the rehearsal process, young performers build friendships, develop new skills, gain confidence, and experience the joy of working together toward a shared goal.

We extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated production team, volunteers, families, and everyone who came out to support our performers. Your encouragement and enthusiasm help create an environment where young artists can thrive.

As one season ends, another exciting chapter begins.

We're thrilled to announce that MMTYC will move to the Meadowvale Theatre stage for our fourth season with Disney's Mary Poppins Jr.

This move reflects the continued growth of our Youth Company and creates even more opportunities for young performers to shine. Performing at Meadowvale Theatre allows us to enhance the production experience, welcome larger audiences, and continue expanding one of MMT's fastest-growing programs.
