Anne of Green Gables

Show Synopsis:             

Based on the popular novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables, the musical, was adapted for the stage by Don Harron and Norman Campbell in 1964. It follows the story of the irrepressible Anne Shirley, a red-haired, freckled-faced orphan who is reluctantly adopted by a gentle famer, Matthew Cuthbert and his spinster sister Marilla, who thought they were getting a boy. At her new home in Avonlea, P.E.I. Anne uses here charm to eventually win the hearts of her new parents, the townsfolk, teachers and fellow students.
